Three billion years ago, when there were no trees on Earth, the amount of oxygen on Earth was at its highest. At that time, animals under the sea took in oxygen and released carbon dioxide. The biggest problem in the world today is that many types of animals and birds are losing their habitats. The main reason for this is the excessive destruction of trees without any reason. However, if we plant more trees, many types of animals and birds will be able to live in the branches of these trees and the trees will provide huge benefits to the animals. For example, they will get both food and shelter from the trees, which will help them survive.
Deforestation problem
Deforestation is one of the biggest evils of our time. Humans are cutting down trees for no reason, which is affecting our environment. For example, in the past, most of the world’s systems were filled with trees. But since the industrial revolution, people started cutting down trees at a massive rate and today only about 25 percent of the trees are left on the earth. As a result, the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is increasing drastically and the habitat and food source of many animals and birds is being destroyed.
Moreover, in different parts of the world, some unscrupulous businessmen are cutting down trees dishonestly due to high profits. Besides, due to the reluctance of the administration, the problem sometimes increases. Therefore, the government should put more pressure on the administration to take stricter action against deforestation to protect the local environment.
